CS6 Adobe Illustrator Fantastic !!!

Just had to tell you all how impressed I am with CS6, upgraded this week and what an improvement the best I have seen for along time so if you are thinking of purchasing do not hesitate, its so much quicker and the pattern tool is fantastic and also the image trace is so much improved, makes my job much easier. Another take on the Nautical theme but with a more vintage look, think 1950's vintage summer Holiday.  Prints are  hand sketched with a vintage quirky feel taking inspiration from the seaside ie beach hut's, lighthouses, yachts, deckchairs and vintage postcards and maps.

Nautical update part 1

Hard to believe but it seems that the nautical trend is going to be still around next spring, I have been asked by the majority of customers to incorporate some kind of nautical inspired prints into the first phases of the spring collections.
The first take on the nautical trend is very much traditional nautical inspired but with mixing in paisley prints, bretton stripe's and trying to move slightly away from just red and navy colour pallets, the detail of the garments and the mix of prints give it a fresh feel, all over prints with then placements on top appeal to the younger market, below is some nautical inspiration and along with
some nautical inspired clothing from Tommy Hilfiger's SS13 collection

Floral Inspiration

Floral's are here to stay, large floral's, digital prints and unusual  placements are key for next spring summer. seen below floral stripe trouser at  Etro's spring summer 13 catwalks. I love it!!

Print Trend Geometric mix up
